Shipment Policy

Last updated 1 August 2026

1. Marketplace Disclaimer

My Machinery Hub is a listing marketplace. We do not directly ship, transport or deliver machinery unless transport has been explicitly arranged in writing with our team as a paid add-on service.

2. Seller Shipping Responsibilities

  • State clearly whether the price is ex-yard or delivered.
  • Provide accurate machine dimensions and weight for trailer selection.
  • Hand over transferable documents at the time of dispatch.
  • Ensure the machine is safely secured before the transporter departs.

3. Buyer Inspection Recommendations

Inspect the machine physically or through an appointed inspector before dispatch. Record a photo and video condition report at loading, and repeat it at unloading.

4. Delivery Timelines

Typical interstate movement takes 3–10 working days depending on distance, permits and trailer availability. Monsoon and festival periods may extend timelines. Timelines quoted by transporters are estimates.

5. Freight Partners

Sellers may use their own transporters or request an introduction to low-bed and multi-axle trailer operators in our partner network. Freight contracts are between the user and the transporter.

6. Damaged Goods

Report transit damage to the transporter and the counterparty within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence and the signed lorry receipt. My Machinery Hub can assist with documentation but is not liable for transit loss.

7. Insurance Recommendations

We strongly recommend a marine-cum-transit or single-transit insurance cover for the full machine value, especially for tracked machines and machines above 15 tonnes.
